Twenty One Girls Emerge As Too Contestants In The Miss Anambra 2015 Pageant


Twenty one girls finally emerged as top contestants on completion of the long rigorous hours of audition for Miss Anambra 2015 Pageant, championed by Anambra Broadcasting Service.
The audition which held at Trig Point Hotels Awka witnessed a turn out of over one hundred contestants at the venue.

This year's beauty pageant has the theme, Showcasing Beauty and Brains.
Its a pageant that aims to empower young people with necessary knowledge and resources to develop themselves and in turn Anambra State.
The top contestants were subsequently decorated with sashes according to the twenty one local government areas in the State which they will represent during the course of the pageant, while five additional girls were chosen as reserves.
Speaking at the end of the audition, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr Uche Nworah while appreciating the State government and the numerous supporters of the pageant, called for more partners.
While saying that the winner of the competition is expected to fully represent Anambra State as well as promote the ABS brand with her various projects, Mr Nworah urged Ndi Anambra to key into the program by coming to any ABS office to purchase their tickets.

Chief Patrick Nwokike who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Let's Partner With You Limited, advised the twenty one contestants to always remember that they are in competition and abide by the rules of the camp, noting that the competition, among other things, has to do with character and good behavior.

Earlier, the Creative Manager of the Pageant, Miss Nwando Okwuosa, while presenting the top twenty one contestant s, urged those that didn't make it to make a return pointing out that many other opportunities abound, applauding them for taking part in the competition at all, as according to her, it shows that they are aware of what they possess and believe in

Some of the contestants that made the list of twenty one, expressed their happiness and appreciation to the organizers of the pageant for giving them such opportunity, in optimism that they will do their best to win the crown.

As the twenty one girls prepare to enter the camp, it will be recalled that the grand finale for the annual Miss Anambra 2015 pageant is scheduled to take place on October 30 2015 where the winner will eventually go home with a brand new kia Rio car, one million naira plus wardrobe allowance, and exciting consolation prizes for first and second runners up.
