The event championed by Anambra Broadcasting Service kicked off in Awka today.
The ambitious girls arrived the serene venue for the audition with high hopes.
Twenty one plus five girls are expected to emerge at the end of the audition.
Miss Nwando Okwuosa who is the Creative Manager of the Miss Anambra 2015, and the winner of Miss Nigeria 2003 called on the prospective contestants to see the opportunity as a serious venture and do their best to win.
Miss Okwuosa however, told the girls that everyone of them must not be chosen, as such their very best is expected as the judges have set high standards for the pageant.
Some of the girls that spoke to the ABS expressed their optimism to be part of the top girls that will eventually emerge at the end of the audition
Miracle Ezeji, Chioma, among others, described the event as a rare opportunity to showcase their talent.
They pointed out that they have all it takes to win the contest, appreciating the ABS and organizers of the event for according them the opportunity, saying its also a way of appreciating and celebrating womanhood.
The grand finale for the Miss Anambra 2015 pageant is scheduled to take place on October 30 2015 and the winner will eventually go home with a brand new kia Rio car, one million naira plus wardrobe allowance, and exciting consolation prizes for first and second runners up.
