We Will Continue To Champion The Bottom-Top Approach To Development- Soludo

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has inaugurated the Transition Commmitte Chairmen who were recently appointed and confirmed by the state House of Assembly.

The event was held at the Government House, Awka.
The twenty one LG Transition Committee Chairmen who have a three months tenure are: Prince Chibueze Ofobuike for Aguata, 
Dr. Anselm Onuora for Anambra East, Mr Felix Ikechi for Anambra West, Mr Gerald Ozo for Anaocha and Mr Emmanuel Ucheze for Awka North Local government area.

Others include: Mr Thank God Aniago for Awka South, Hon. Livinus Onyenwe for Ayamelum, Mr Augustine i Nonyelum for Dunukofia, Mr James Obi for Ekwusigo and Mr Chucks Igboanua for Idemili North.
While Idemili South Local government area has Mrs Immaculata Obi and Ihiala Mr Kingsley Obi , as well as Mr. Clems Aguiyi for Njikoka.

Nnewi North has Mr Mbazuluike Iloka as it's Chairman, Nnewi South Mr Ikenna Aniagbaoso, Onitsha North, Mr Charles Ozoma, Onitsha South, Mr Emeka Orji, Orumba North, Engineer Ogochukwu Ekwueme, Orumba South, Mr Sunday Uchendu, Oyi, Mr Emmanuel Nweke and Ogbaru council has Mr Paschal Aniegbuna as it's Chairman.
Addressing the new Transition Committee Chairmen, Governor and Soludo said that Public service is the greatest platform to make a great difference and impact, reminding them that thousands of people in their respective local government areas look up to them for service delivery that will change their lives.

While welcoming them as members of the solution team, the Governor pointed out that they have become part of the disruptive change, moreso at a time various challenges, stressing that there is no room for excuses. 
The Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Mr. Collins Nwabunwanne and in his remarks said that the Governor's appointment of the Chairmen was through thorough screening and clearance , expressing confidence in their ability to deliver on their mandate.
In a Vote of thanks, the Transition Committee Chairman for Orumba South, Mr. Neville Uchendu pledged that they are eager and passionate to deliver on the job.
Recall that on Friday, July, 29, 2022, Anambra State House of Asssembly screened and confirmed the appointment of twenty one persons nominated by the Governor as Chairmen, Local Government Transition Committee which is in line with with section 208 of the Local government law.

Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Deputy Speaker of the state Assembly, Dr. Paschal Agbodike, Secretary to the state government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, President General of Anambra State Association of Town Unions, Barrister Titus Akpudo, among others, witnessed the event.
