Governor Soludo Flags off Renewed Monthly Sanitation Exercise In Anambra

Governor Chukwuma Soludo says the state government is starting the monthly exercise held every last Saturday of the month with again with renewed vigour in its journey towards a cleaner, greener, planned and sustainable environment.

Governor Soludo who stated this, flagged off the renewed last Saturday of the month sanitisation exercise in Anambra at Eke Awka market.
On arrival, Governor Soludo first performed drainage desilting.
Governor Soludo also flagged off the door to door dirt collection exercise. 
Speaking shortly after the flag-off, he asked Ndi Anambra to imbibe the habit of clearing up their environment including the drainage system in front of their residents to make for a cleaner, greener and healthier state.
In a vote of thanks, Chairman of Eke Awka market, Chief Jude Agummadu appreciated the Governor for commencing the exercise from the market, pledging to support him.
Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyeka Ibezim, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi,  Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Felix Odimegwu, the market populace, among others, attended the event.
